Towards the end of my studies of Veterinary Medicine in Berlin, Germany, I developed a special interest in Equine Dentistry, which, unfortunately, is taught only very superficially at universities throughout the world. After some years of work with a horse vet who had been specializing in this field, I found myself in a position to devote all of my energy solely to Equine Dentistry. I was granted the privilege of gaining lots of theoretical knowledge and practical experience with Mr. Louis Pequin from Canada (www.pequinox.ca). But in the end it is the horses who have been my best teachers. After one year of practical work in this field in Israel, I am working in my own practice in the vicinity of Berlin, Germany, since August 2005.
My mission is
- to promote Equine Dentistry in whatever way I can for the sake of the horse,
- to provide horse people with knowledge that will benefit them and their horses,
- to provide therapeutic services enabling each horse to have a “balanced mouth” (Louis Pequin),
- to combine current medical standards, recent technology and my years of experience
